She was born in Kagoshima, Japan. While studying graphic design at a design school in Tokyo, she began creating jewelry. In 1971, she moved to the United States and studied at the Jewelry Academy at the New School in New York. She designed and produced jewelry for Gucci and Georg Jensen (North America).
She started creating artwork at the age of 8, developing original pieces with oil pastels layered with Kanazawa gold leaf and oil paintings. Her art concept is "COLOR PASSION ELEGANCE," expressed through vibrant colors, oil paintings filled with passion, and unique, elegant jewelry.
From 2004 to 2016, she held solo exhibitions at Motoazabu Gallery in Tokyo, followed by exhibitions in New York, Geneva, and Taipei. Her solo exhibitions at Ginza Mitsukoshi Gallery, which started in 2017, received great acclaim and continued until 2019. In 2018 and 2019, she also held solo exhibitions at The Nippon Club in New York. Since 2021, she has held annual exhibitions at the Yayoi Iijima Museum in Tokyo. Additionally, from 2021 onwards, she participated in the Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Collection for three consecutive years, and in 2024, her work became part of their permanent exhibition.
