Yumiko Sato Profile 

1953 Born in Fukuoka Prefecture 
1971 Entered Nakamura Junior College 
1973 Started training at clay doll workshop 
1977 Married Mr. Kokusho Sato (currently a creative doll artist and Hakata doll traditional craftsman) 
1978 Launched ART SPACE SATO and started producing original clay dolls with Mr. Yoshiaki 
2013 Inherited Imajuku dolls from Shigeo Ohashi (uncle) 
2017 it has been designated as a specialty folk craft of Fukuoka Prefecture, and after holding exhibitions in several locations, it is currently exhibiting at the Hakata Traditional Craftsmen's Association exhibition three times a year
