The Nippon Club Open Call WEB Art Exhibition “Forward Together!”

In addition to painting, I have a passion for theater, and I work for a theater production company. Theater is one of the many industries hit hard by COVID-19, and it seems inevitable considering the nature of what theater is. The purpose of going to the theater is to be in the same space with so many others who also love theater like you do, together get excited and experience the stories unfold in front of you. I named my painting “Only Intermission”, the term coined by our beloved theater community, because “it's only intermission”, and everyone loves a great second act.
