About the work
The main stone of this creation is a rutile quartz. It is cut and polished in Japanese traditional technique. It is called “Tesuri” which is a technique to polish stone only using the sense of artisan’s hand. This technique is inherited in Yamanashi prefecture. It was polished by the artisan in Kofu using “Tesuri” technique and its cut design was done in consideration of “Japanese beauty”
Koide hopes “Japanese beauty” would brighten up people’s heart even today.
