Sekku - Seasonal Festivals
According to the Japanese calendar, Sekku is the day when traditional seasonal events are held. In ancient Japan, there were five seasonal festivals of a year. Here are the two of five sekku festivals that Tokugawa Shogunate certified as public events: Girls’ Day Festival (March 3) and Boy’s Day Festival (May 5)
