About the work

On the day of the earthquake, I was in Aizu, my birthplace. For a while after the earthquake, I felt anxiety like I had never experienced before, and even when I looked up at the sky, it was as if it was reflecting my heart. Gradually, I began to look forward, and when I looked up at the sky, I saw the same beautiful sky that I had seen when I was a little girl. More and more, I wanted to paint the sky through my eyes, and that is what I have been doing so far. I would like to continue to draw the same beautiful sky as my hometown.
