Kichiya Tachibana
Tachibana style yosemoji / Edomoji calligrapher
After six years of training under Master Tachibana Unokichi, a Tachibana style yosemoji and Edomoji calligrapher, he was recognized as a formal successor to the family in January 2017; granted the pen name "Kichiya Tachibana." Currently, in addition to traditional vaudeville turning and posters, he is also involved in logo design and brush cultivation of posters and souvenirs for the annual festival as a calligrapher who goes in and out of "Hitachinokunisoshagu," which is enshrined in Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
