About the work

Unsigned, 1850-1900

It is a beautiful fukusa that reminds us of an aristocratic woman. The obi which hangs on a rack is decorated with fans and kusudama ribbons. Herbs were stuffed in Kusuyama and decorated with five colored tassels. These were to wish for long life, health and safety.
